"Being Chosen is a momentous occasion," Fa chuckles quietly, feeling the other woman shift and adjusting minutely to accommodate her. "Of course you can't turn that down." There were times, now and again, when she sounded much like Agate. In those times it was usually cadence and tone that gave her a unique edge. This was probably one of those.
