Maybe there was a disconnect, there. Fa in the presence of Agate had a tendency to want to slip through the cracks. There had been a lot going on at that point, and a lot of it had felt so far beyond her that perhaps now she was attempting to make little of it. She cast her gaze aside when K gave her that look, then, attempting to smile, replied, "if I had known anything like this was happening... I'd have offered to help. I didn't even realize I could."
